ReadyCloud Windows App doesn't show sync options

Hey everyone!

I recently installed the ReadyCloud Windows app, however, it doesn't work as I expected. This app should enable me to set up syncing between the drive attached to my router and the computer on which the Windows app is installed, right?

After installing and logging in, I am only getting the following screen:

ReadyCloud Windows App.png

On some online videos, I noticed options for each folder. However, they are not showing here. To clarify a bit more: I cannot (left or right) click the T_Drive folder for more options and under settings there is nothing interesting either.

Does any of you have a clue if this has to do with the router type (which simply doesn't support these options), or if it is a software/configuration issue?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Simon

    Welcome to the community, SimonZon

The ReadyCloud will only show the files from the attached USB drive on your router.

      Dear Elaine,

Thank you for thinking with me!

Okay, noted. The drive I am refering to in my original message is actually connected by usb.

      I'll clarify a bit more:

Router: Netgear Nighthawk R7000 - AC1900 Smart WiFi

USB drive connected to router: 2TB usb storage

I can access these files in the ReadyCloud web environment (also sharing for example). However, I cannot set up synchronization using the Windows App. Do you have any clue?

      Kind regards,

      Simon

        Hi Simon,

What's the firmware version installed on your router?

Do you have the latest firmware installed?
