Sudden drop in throughput

Late last week, noticed internet slow.   Troubleshooting eliminated everything except the Router.

NBN connection is AussieBBS 250Gb download speed.

For the last 3 days best performance has been 30Gb download, with most avg 17Gb download.  Upload speed not affected, ping times normal (9-11ms)

Have checked logs nothing seems amiss.

Latest firmware uptodate.

Scratching head as to what's wrong...

Ideas Anyone ?

    A couple things.

    1. I think you  mean Mbps. not Gig

    2. what firmware is on the r8000?

    3. what modem/gateway/ont is the R8000 connected to?

    4. did you do anything that might have changed it? (moving stuff around, etc)

Yep - my bad, Mb not Gb download

Firmware =  V1.0.4.76_10.1.82   (Latest version)  Been on router & working fine since released a while ago.

Nothing chas changed, no reloactions, no different equipment, nothing changed.

Router connected to NBN equipment  (Arris CM8200)

        try factory resetting it.

Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

Then during the install, make sure to leave qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls all disabled.
