Verison 3G MiFi connectivity
Can a Verizon 2200 3G MiFi be connected to a Netgear Nighthawk AC 1900 - Model R7000 using a USB to Ethernet adapter cable into the ethernet internet input port? I use both Windows XP and Windows 7 operating system based computers.
Hi NRF,
The R7000 does not support that type of connection. If your 3G MiFi is using a MicroSim card, you might try checking the R7100LG.

I appreciate this reply with helpful advise. As a result I have returned the netgear unit to the store and have decided that my idea to set up a network in hour motor home is simply not going to happen with the Verizon 3G wireless hardware I have. Since I have unlimited data for life with this 3G unit it is highly unlikely I will change my internet service. Too bad. It would have been helpful to have a network.
