WIFI Speed not as fast as the SPeedTest results

Hi All,  I need some help.....i have tested the speed at the router and have almost 300Mbps.

 

I connect my iphone Xr to the wifi and ran a fast.com test and only get 12Mbps.

 

i have researched alot of topics, restated the router and home network, changed the wifi channels...no improvment.

 

any help would be grateful....thank you

    Are you using smart connect? 
    What band are you connecting to? 

    If you hardwire a pc/laptop into the router, what speeds do you get? 

    What modem/gateway is the router connected to? 

    What firmware is on the router?

      Are you using smart connect?          Yes, single wifi name
      What band are you connecting to?             6,44,157

      If you hardwire a pc/laptop into the router, what speeds do you get?   340 Mbps avg

      What modem/gateway is the router connected to?   armstong cable modem, not sure of name

      What firmware is on the router?     V1.0.4.76_10.1.82

       

      this is a recent speed issue, within the last 4 months.
