Cannot reach certain websites

I have been trying to reach Distrowatch.com and the RS200 I have some odd reason refuses to connect to the website.  If I bypass the freaky thing and connect directly to my ISP modem, the website comes up just happy as can be.  I did a complete 100% reset on the router, and still the same problem exists.  I have tried 2 other desktops, a mobile & a tablet.  Same problem exists no matter what I try on the RS200.  I'm at a loss.

I mean the website is for linux information so nothing harsh in that  at least one would think?

I have the latest firmware 1.2.7.2 installed and so I'm at a blank.  I've also noted that when I call for routerlogin.net the page isn't loading.  I shouldn't have to change DNS settings because the router is directly behind my ISP modem via ethernet cable.

Any help on this one would be a plus!!

Thanks in advance!

Are there any other sites you cannot reach?

Does nslookup find the DNS records?

    Have you tried disabling ipv6?

You're right. You "shouldn't" have to change the DNS. But it wouldn't be the first time the DNS from and ISP didn't pull up when ran through a 3rd party router.

Its a pretty easy test to change DNS. Make sure to do it for both IPv4 and IPv6 if you have IPv6 enabled.

Might even be worth checking if there's a faster DNS for your area while you're at it.

I use this site. I don't always pick the fastest but it gives a good idea of what speeds are like.
