Currently I'm on old firmware rebooting the router 1-3 times a day

Netgear has had me provide dumps, run beta firmware, replaced the router, separate 2.4 devices in isolation of the guest network, reset factory settings, etc.  They wanted me to run a different set of beta firmware.. I have had so many calls with them and tried so many things I have asked for a replacement to something other than the RS line/same set of firmware.  Currently I'm on old firmware rebooting the router 1-3 times a day.  I'm about after 20 years to leave Netgear.  The quality reminds me of Citrix processors in the 90's.  Very disappointing for a $580 investment.

So what is the main issue or problem that causes you to have to reboot the router?

    What is happening?

What brand and model# devices do you have connected in total?

What Firmware version # is currently loaded?

Ohters have mentioned v1.0.7.96 has worked better.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
Using ISP Detected DNS or custom DNS?
Is Armor, Guest Network, SPC or IPv6 Enabled or disabled?
