Having issues with connecting to the internet on 10G port from ISP: Optimum
Having issues with connecting to the internet on 10G port from ISP: Optimum. The 10G port is in bridge mode where it is suppose to give a public ip. The router is not able to get a lease from DHCP. The port works when connecting directly to pc. RS700 isn't able to dynamically fetch from the DHCP for some reason. Tried turning off firewalls, noticed some DDOS false positives on 68 port.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 1-2 minute for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Be sure the ISP doesn't have any specific WAN side configurations that maybe needed. Ask them about this. Some require PPPoE configurations.
Check for any MAX Spoofing as well.

Does the RS show a connection on the RS web page under Advanced tab/Show Stats button?
Can you post a screen capture of this page?
Wondering if the ISP could put the gateway back in router mode and then use the router DMZ for the RS700...
