Help please rs300
Nighthawk BE9300 WiFi 7 Router (RS300) was purchased 8/13/25. I previously had a ax5400 that was wonderful (no drops) but in its 4th year.
Upon downloading. I began dropping internet service multiple times a day and some streaming broke down. I immediately called support wen through a series of adjustments and yet im still getting 30 sec or more drops and occasionally my internet will freeze.
any solutions appreciated...my house is only 1600 sq ft. my router is in same place my old was.

Yes. firmware is updated automatically (that was what I was told by a call to netgear. Then, support checked and adjust a few things 2 weeks after 8/13/25. I use wifi not ethernet. I rebooted system a few times. I will check router settings but I have used netgear router previously 3 years old and this replacement is giving me fits.

What FW verison is loaded on the RS router?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. Is IPv6 or Protection Engine enabled on the RS router?

Have you updated to the latest firmware? Do the drops only happen on wifi and not via Ethernet? Does this only happen on certian devices? You may also want to check if your router has Protection Engine and if it does try to disable it in the router settings Advanced Tab/Security/Protection Engine.
Thanks
