Netgear Nighthawk RS300
Hi can anybody help I have tried Netgear support and they can’t fix my issue, I have just taken out my BT Home Hub2 router and replaced with a Netgear Nighthawk RS300 Firmware Version V1.0.1.60, I have FFTP and have never had any issues with my BT Router, I changed because I needed wi-fi6, so my problem is every day around about 08:30 my both my laptops (windows11) loses the internet, wi-fi says it’s connected but I cant connect to my email or web browser, however all other Wi-Fi devices work, Firesticks, smart TV,s cell phones, printer etc, I have to reboot the router to get the laptop back up, this is doing my head in please help.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
Is Protection Engine enabled on the RS routers web page? Under Advanced Tab/Administration/Security. If so, disable this feature, apply the change and reboot the router.- steveredvanAspirant

Nokia Model Unknown as I said it has all worked OK with BT Home Hub 2 router
I have disabled Protection Engine
I will let you know after 08:30 UK time if the laptop kept the internet connected

Hi Furrye38, 08:30 my time has come & gone and I have not lost internet on my laptop you may have cracked it 🙂 I will wait until tomorrows 08:30 has come and gone to check all is still well. Many thanks in advance.
