ONT Leox Netgear Nighthawk RS700 802.1Q
Hello
I need your help to solve the problem of lack of 802.1Q in RS700 which is necessary to replace ISP’s (T-mobile PL) Sagemcom Fast 5670 TMPL. The Sagemcom’s soft lets me change the wifi name and on/off DHCP only. No bridge mode or more sophisticated features. No fixed IP from ISP.
ISP’s requirements:
Router with 802.1Q
Internet VLAN ID - 35
Connection type - PPPoE
User name - 48998XXXXXX
Password – YYYYYYYYYY
My gear:
ONT Leox LXT-010H-D
https://leolabs.pl/ont-leox-lxt-010h-d.html
Latest firmare (3.3.2L10), factory settings restored.
And the Netgear Nighthawk RS700 with 1.0.7.96 firmare.
I get O5 on ONT, the PON light is green. The data entered into the router, looks ok.
But when the router is connected to the ONT, its LAN light is blinking red and the router’s INTERNET light is solid amber what means that the cable is plugged in, but there is no internet connection.
I have two Netgear switches with 802.1Q: GS105 and GS305 if it helps.
Is there any possibility to make it work?

Check with the ISP to see if any special WAN configurations are needed and correct on the RS Router.
Might power OFF both ONT and RS router for 15-30 seconds then back ON with the ONT first, then RS soon after.
Try putting one switch in between the ONT and the RS router with only these two devices connected to this switch.

The RS700 has a VLAN capability (802.1Q) to meet certain ISP requirements. See page 96 of the user manual:

Thank you Furry for quick reply.
The ISP sent me that list twice, so i assume that there are no other settings.
Off/on in sequece doesn't help.
Shall i configure the switch in any special way or just plug in?

IF those are non managed switches then there is no configuration needed.

Thanks CrimpOn. The google's AI said it has not. If it is possible could you please edit my post no to mislead others?

Might be prudent to see if the RS700 is able to connect using that VLAN 35 setting.
