RS600 BE17000 vs BE18000

I'm struggling to understand what version of the RS600 is out there for the US. All I can see on my RS600 is "RS600". Nothing stating what the BE version is, and the firmware has no reference to anything other than RS600 as well. Online I see just the BE18000 version posted. If I download the User Manual, it's a RS600 BE17000 manual updated in July of 2025. This manual does not contain any reference to the QoS page of the firmware (Home/Quality of Service). This feature is either something that's never been documented or is a feature of the current firmware, V1.05.22. Is there a User Manual supporting the current version???

From were are you seeing BE17000?

This is the RS600s official web support page what showing BE18000: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rs600

The manual may be out of date and not updated with newer features that may have been added that differs from what is actually seen in FW.

Also there is a beta FW available as well for users interested.

The BE17000 is Amazon specific model and not sold through NG.

  • The BE17000 is Amazon model with only 4.8 Gbps AX speed supported in the 5 Ghz band. The RS600 supports BE 5.8 Gbps in the 5 Ghz band.

  • BE17000 model support page : https://www.netgear.com/support/product/be17000

  • OK, I finally do see the BE18000 on the router. What I'm trying to understand is why the User Manual under the website section for the RS600 BE18000 is actually the Model RS600, BE17000 user manual, updated on July 2025. As I said, with the V1.05.22 firmware, I see many discrepancies between the firmware and the user manual.
