RS600 usage out of U.S

I bought a US model of RS600 (BE17000) it arrives with One (1) 19V/3.42A power adapter. can i use it in 220V country? only adding an European head to it?

  • If the adapter has 110v/220v listed on the adapter then you could if it only lists 110v, then no, you'll need to find a converter or an adapter that can support 220v.

  • You could buy an aftermarket 19v adapter. But between having to buy an aftermarket adapter as well as it being region locked to North America, it might be more work than its worth. I'd see if you can return it so you can at least set it to the EU region.

i don't think i can return it for this i need to travel to U.S again which will happen only next year. May be i can somehow unlock the region to be worldwide or specific to Europe?

I haven't read of any of the Wifi 7 being able to be region unlocked. There might be a way but I haven't seen an official one. You might compare your regions broadcast restrictions to see what yours are so you can make sure to avoid specific broadcast channels.
