RS700 Mesh Support
I just received my (2) RS700 units and the setup of the first one went flawlessly. Due to the location of my office where my internet connection comes into the house, I need to use a mesh system to cover the lower floors with good service. I know that mesh support was advertised as "later this year" and just wanted to see if there is an ETA anyone is aware of so I can setup the 2nd unit.
I use a hardwired Cat6 cable between floors for the backbone connection if that helps. Thanks!
I'll just add from my experience that I had issues in setting up the 2nd unit in AP mode via wireless and finally connected via ethernet cable to a laptop and it worked without an issue.

We don't get that kind of information from NG. Will have to keep an eye out on the release notes when new FW is released.

I don't ave the ETA for the Mesh support yet. But in your case where you use an Ethernet cable to connect the two Nighthawk routers, you can set the 2nd Nighthawk router (i.e. the one that is NOT directly connected to your modem) to the AP mode with the same WiFi network name (SSID) for now.
Thanks very much for the tip, I'll give it a try this weekend.
Yes if you have a 2nd RS, you have to set it up to get into the RS web page, then set AP Mode.
