Adding Cloud User for ReadyNAS RN212
I want to give my wife access to our ReadyNAS RN212 through ReadyCLOUD. Apparently she needs to have a MyNETGEAR account for ReadyCLOUD access. However, I cannot register her for a MyNETGEAR account without giving a serial number, and when I give the serial number for our ReadyNAS RN212 it won't accept it because it's already associated with my MyNETGEAR account. So how can I give my wife access to our ReadyNAS RN212 through ReadyCLOUD using an account of her own and not my MyNETGEAR account?
Hello thadanders,
One NAS device only can be registered to one MyNetgear account who own this nas. And other MyNetgear accounts can be invited to access nas files.
You can create a MyNetgear account for your wifi firstly on http://readycloud.netgear.com web page, Sign in->Create account page. Then invite her to access your nas.
About how to invite other account, please refer to https://kb.netgear.com/24929/How-do-I-use-ReadyCLOUD-to-allow-or-remove-share-access-for-remote-users
Best Regards.
