Hi Mark_V,
I read that thread and article, but couldn't really find/understand the answer for my question.
From a Readycloud (external users) point of view: Does it even matter if "Allow anonymous Access" is allowed or not?
"Only invited users will be able to access your ReadyCloud shares but no other users can access it..."
So why does the question about "Anonymous Access Detected" appear when invite of new users to ReadyCloud? How is it relevant?
Thanks
/Tommy

Where exactly are you seeing this "anonymous access detected" message? Can you post a screen shot?
- TommyDaSep 27, 2018Aspirant
I get it when i invite users to ReadyCloud. I log in as admin, select the share, click "Share", Select "Full folder Access",
type in e-mail address and click Invite button, then the dialog pops up (see attached picture).- StephenBSep 27, 2018Guru - Experienced User
It's basically warning you that the new user will be able to access that Public folder.
Is that what you want?

Yes, that's what I want. That's the reason I activated ReadyCloud and invited the user.
I just got worried that any external/ReadyCloud user would be able to use the share anonymous. But that is not the case as I understand it now?
I have latest Windows I believe and it works for me.
