Apple Readycloud app says I have no devices

I have tried to use readycloud app on my ipad to link to my readynas 102, but am told that I do not have any devices, the readynas remote app says I am logged in but says I should enter detail on the remote management page(?). I can start readycloud on my windows 10 computer and click on the web portal link to see my nas happily doing it's job. Any suggestions on how to get the apple apps working?

Have you connected your NAS to your ReadyCLOUD account?

As I originally said, if I open readyCLOUD on my pc and click the web portal link I log into the portal and there is my nas which I can then manage from the portal site. The infuriating thing is that I did have readynas remote working on the ipad until my wife deleted it, after reinstalling it no longer worked, so I tried the readycloud app which doesn't see any devices, the remote app logs me in but then says 'Please make sure you have added your readyNAS remote username to the allowed list in the remote access management section or ReadyNAS Remote management page'  ?

On the Cloud tab in the web admin interface of the NAS can you confirm that your NAS is connected to ReadyCLOUD?
