I believe I am having the same issue. I can connect to a PC or MAC and get remote access to my RN516, but when signing into the iOS application it just says I have no devices. I used to use this and it worked until, from frontview, I logged out of ReadyCloud and re-logged in. After that I am no longer able to get iOS to show my NAS.
FW: 6.2.4 (516)
iOS App: 1.5.5
iOS: 8.4
Has there been any solution to this issue?
Thanks,
-David

Hello dbreiny1,
Have you tried reinstalling the app?
Regards,
- dbreiny1Dec 02, 2015Aspirant
Thank you for your reply.
Yes I have tried removing and re-installing the app on both my iPhone 5s and my iPad and neither one will show my NAS. The strange thing is that a PC or MAC does work from anywhere...

Hi dbreiny1,
Was the same ReadyCLOUD user ID used in your mobile devices? Consider using a different network or a 3G network and see if there's a difference.
Kind regards,

Good question, yes I have used the same id in all locations when signing into ReadyCloud from all devices. I have even tried logging my Device (in Frontview) out of one ReadyCloud account and into another, then trying clients again. Each time the PC and MAC work, but the iOS devices (all of them) show "You have no devices".
This did work at one point, but I have not used it for some time.
I have tried LTE (Verizon), Home wireless and Work Wireless and all work with PC/MAC, none work with iOS.
Thanks,
-David

Hi dbreiny1,
I logged in just fine using an iPhone 5s with the latest ReadyCLOUD app. Have you tried disabling all the Cloud services (ReadyCLOUD, ReadyNAS Remote and Replicate) and log back in your admin?
Kind regards,
BrianL

Is this correct?
I log into FrontView --> Cloud --> ReadyCLOUD --> Settings --> Leave
At this point ReadyNAS Remote and ReadyCLOUD are "OFF"
I then click on ReadyCLOUD --> Settings
Type a username and password and click join (takes a few minutes).
This is successful, and my PC and MAC both see the NAS in ReadyCLOUD, however, regrefully... my iOS devices are still not seeing the NAS (logged into the same account).
Could it be something messed up on the Netgear side with my ReadyCLOUD account?
Thanks again,
-David

I logged out of REadyCloud again and created a new account - dbreiny3@gmail.com to see if it was account related. I can access again from PC/MAC but not on iOS.
I downloaded the logs and found this in readynasd.log:

Good news...
I finally got the nerve to upgrade to 6.4.1 (went seamlessly BTW), and it seems to have resolved my issues with ReadyCLOUD. I was on 6.2.4 and it was a little buggy enabling and disabling ReadyCLOUD. On 6.4.1 it immediately told me the service was unavailable. I signed out and back in after the upgrade and voila! I am in and iOS works as expected.
Thanks for the help,
-David

I'm happy the original poster found his answer but I'm still having the same issue. Everything worked fine UNTIL I migrated to ReadyCLOUD and updated the firmware on the NAS to 6.5.0. The NAS continues to function on my home network (PC, Windows 8) and I successfully logged in as Admin and set the ReadyCLOUD to "ON". Green tick marks are indicated for both internet and services available. Yet the apps (version 1.5.7) on both iPhone and iPad indicate "You have no devices". Again, this used to work fine until the recent migration and now I've spent hours trying to sort this out so I may reestablish remote access to my files.

Taking this a step further... I logged out of MyNETGEAR Account and logged back in only to find this message: "Currently you have no registered or shared devices". It then provides instructions for discovering the device... I click "Discover", my NAS is quickly found and I am given the option to "Manage" the device. Not sure what else I'm suppose to do... I keep running into this loop and the status never changes.

Download ReadyNAS Remote v1.5.8 from apple site and use that instead I know this works fine. The ReadyCLOUD app v1.5.7 won't even open on my Ipad anymore since the update.
Update to this reply...................
Uninstalled the ReadyCLOUD app, switched off Ipad, then reinstalled the app, entered my logon details and went straight into my NAS. Don't know why this worked but it did!
