I made a share for an external user, sent him an invite to join and he registered. I then followed this guide http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/24929 and made sure he was given permissions to access it. When he logs into the readycloud site, he can see all my shares but I have them set to not allow anonymous so he cant access them. Yet the one share I allowed him to access he can't even get into that one. The only thing he able to save info to is his home folder that was created. Is there anything I am missing here? Do i need to turn on HTTP/HTTPS in the main admin page? Any settings in Properties, Network Access or File Access I need to configure?
Thanks!
Edit: Running 6.2.0 firmware on a ReadyNAS 516
I invited an external user to share some movies to him on our RN716 that also runs on fimware v6.2.0. I also followed the steps on the same link you have mentioned: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/24929. I gave an external user a Read-Only Access on the share that contains the movies and it works. The external user can download the movies just fine but he cannot paste anything on the share since he has a Read-Only access.
What if you try to turn off/on ReadyCloud on your RN516?
