downloading documents from readycloud
Since the last firmware update to 6.5.1 any .pdf, .doc, or .xls file I try to download remotely (pc, or mobile) is a corrupt file with a file size of 1k.
I kept thinking Netgear would figure this out and fix the issue but apparently not. Absolutly ridiculous! The whole purpose of purchasing this device was to access my private documents remotely. Now its completly useless.
I am using a ReadyNAS 202, but this device is missing from Netgears own model list for the forum.

I'm having the same issue using the 204. All files are 1kb and I can't open any of them when I download them. I also tried emailing them to myself and creating a download link and came to the same result. Very disappointing to say the least.

I saw that thread eariler. The files I'm trying to download are in the root shares folder i.e. (\ReadyCLOUD\NASname\data\Documents). They file name is as generic as it can be. Specifically it's labeled "503.pdf". It's a 700kb file and it only downloads as a 1kb file that is corrupt or something. Tried opening multiple file types, naming conventions, in multiple locations and they all have this issue. So nothing in that thread is useful to our issue.
It is an unfortunately common issue -not just with pdf but with any filetype:
- Yes 6.6.0 appears to have fixed my problem as well. And I hope a little more attention is put into future updates to avoid another 6 months of being unable to access my files.
