How to permanently disable ReadyCLOUD?
I just upgraded an RN516 from 6.1.8 to 6.2.2 and the IT department locked the unit off the network. When I attempt to download the RAIDar version 6.0 https://readycloud.netgear.com/client/install/RAI...
The RAIDar download was attempted on my desktop PC. However, both my PC and the RN516 go through the same proxy where IT manages what sites we can access. Since IT is not letting my PC access the readycloud.netgear.com site, I suspect that whatever Cloud service the RN516 is attempting to access is also being denied. In the case of the RN516, IT is disabling its network access after that. The RN516 can obtain an initial IP address and then it gets locked out of the network. So, I need to disable all services that are attempting to go to a "Cloud" site.
