Well, I just uninstalled MyCloud and installed ReadyNasRemote again and today it worked... the last 20 times it did not. Tried both back and forth. However..... now there is an error when I try to login to my ReadyCloud account online. It logs in okay and displays the first page but then we get an error with a big red X that says: 6001010106Solved7.9KViews0likes14CommentsReadyCLOUD not working ?
I have an ReadyNAS NV+ with 4.1.10 and an ReadyNAS Ultra 4 with 4.2.22 installed, both workinf fine in the same network as my windows PC. Just tried to use the ReadyCloud discovery feature, but none of them are discovered no matter what browser I am using (Chrome, Safari, IE). Both are perfectly discovered when using Raidar. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks, Max-196813KViews0likes21CommentsReadyNAS DUO v1 and new ReadyCloud doesn't work- How to?
Hello, I used ReadyNAS remote all time. Now I changed to Windows 8. But how can I connect to my two RND2000 ReadyNAS DUO V1. Both have the newest Firmware. But ReadyCloud can't discover my NAS's. On the other side: my Samsung S4 can see both with the Android-APP ReadyCloud. What must I do to see on my PC?6.6KViews1like5CommentsUnable to Invite ReadyCloud Users with 6.2.0
Hi, After the upgrade to 6.2.0 on my ReadyNAS RN104, my readycloud users where unable to connect to my readynas. I was able remove the users from my readycould, however the "invite user" button is completely missing. I've followed the online tutorial on the Netgear KB (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22871/~/how-do-i-add-readycloud-users-to-my-readynas-os-6-storage-system%3F), but the invite button is simply missing. The only option is to delete users (which there aren't any left after trying trying to troubleshoot why my users are no longer able to connect after the upgrade, even on my local LAN).5.5KViews0likes8CommentsReadyCloud can't discover device
Hi all, I've just purchased a ReadyNAS 316 device and I'm trying to set it up. When using ReadyCloud to try and discover the device online, I get to the point where I have to press the OK button on the front. When I do, it tells me the setup could not be completed because I didn't press the button within the allowed time frame. I know it's definitely picking up the button press, as the discovery screen in my browser changes immediately once I press the button. Anyone seen this before, or got any ideas? I know I can set it up in offline mode but I'd like to be able to access the device online.6.8KViews0likes3CommentsReadyNAS 102 - ReadyCloud Cannot Discover Device
I am unable to discover my NAS through ReadyCloud. I have read the following posts on this: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=394086#p394086 http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=70100 http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=71057 and others. My set up is: ReadyNAS 102 connected to a Netgear router via a Netgear 16Gb switch. 2 PCs connected to the switch - I am able to connect to the NAS from either PC. I had issues setting up the NAS and did it via the Set up wizard. I performed a factory default during the set up process. I have also created a ReadyCloud account in https://readycloud.netgear.com. Based on the first post referenced above, I have tried the following: 1. Clicking the Discover button in ReadyCloud. 2. Having used the local setup wizard I understand from the post that I cannot discover the device in cloud portal; 3. So, I have pressed the backup button in the front panel for 5 seconds but the device is not discovered (again after clicking Discover); 4. But, being already registered into cloud I also understand that the device cannot be listed in the cloud portal discovery page unless I enter the SN and search it. I have tried this and it also does not work. Remote access (and reported ease of set up) was the main reason I purchased this device so it is important to me to get this working. I would be grateful for assistance. Thanks in advance, Tim13KViews0likes8CommentsCannot reset ReadyCloud password
Hi, I have just got the ReadyNAS RN102 and installation using the ReadyCloud option worked fine. Later in the day I tried to log in using my ReadyCloud account but I could not log in. I have used the password recovery option but the link just sends me back to the Netgear ReadyCloud page? I can't see anywhere where I can reset my password. How do I reset my password please? One other thing, when you have successfully discovered the NAS Device (as I have) if you run the discover option later should it find it again (mine doesn't)? Thanks.9.1KViews0likes13CommentsReadyNAS 102 not found (after firmware upgrade?).
Hello I bought a ReadyNAS 102 with a single HDD. Installed it, was asked if I wanted to upgrade firmware which I did. Continued to install some apps. But now suddenly the readycloud-webpage wont find it. Getting the message "no devices found". ReadyNAS remote only shows a blank screen when I try "show devices". Edit: The device does show, but as offline. It also wont connect here when i click on connect. I have tried to turn off and on the power but no difference. If I click the "access"-tab in Readycloud it shows the name of the NAS but with a continous loading screen. The NAS is connected to my router and I can see it in the routeradmin. It is not shown in windows explorers network when i browse the tree.4.1KViews0likes0CommentsManaging Multiple ReadyNAS via ReadyCloud
We are evaluating the 312 for use in 145 locations (all within our same organization). These are not linked to each other via WAN/VPN/AD/ etc. each location is a workgroup-type scenario. However my IT team will need to centrally administer and manage all 145 NAS units (1 per location, no replication between them). Should be create ONE ReadyCloud account and populate it with these devices or create one account per location? Other suggestions for dealing with this many? We are using Windows servers now, which have been rock-solid with very little fuss required. We are nervous about appliances for multiple reasons, but are interested in the cloud access options via Egnyte, etc. and the lower per unit cost. These are only file servers for Windows clients.
