r7000 and readycloud
Anyone know when this feature is comming? The new firmware released today supports remote connection through netgenie, bit I have ready that readycloud is coming. On my readyshare tab on my router it says to setup readycloud go to Tue website, but no option on the router itself to enable it.

- code505AspirantI'm also facing the same problem. I have macbook, I've installed their readyshare cloud client for mac but this also does not work, every time the sign in fail, although I can sign in in the cloud site with the same username and password.
- pierrrkeGuideFunny thing is that Netgear has announced already on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XFfk95CTzY
Netgear is explaining how to add a device through the R7000 GUI, advanced tab, usb storage, ReadyCloud. First I have made an ReadCloud account. However,I am using FW V1.0.4.14_1.1.50, and there is no ReadyCloud option in the USB Storage. Therefore I cannot add the R7000 to Readycloud?
Any idea's?

R7000, FW V1.0.4.14_1.1.50, Netherlands - Last Friday I asked Netgear Support about the ReadyCloud feature for the R7000 and I was told "That will be on the next firmware release but we do not have an estimated time of arrival when they will release the new firmware that supports ReadyCloud". That was just before they pulled the V1.0.4.14_1.1.50 firmware so I am not sure if "next" means the release that fixes V1.0.4.14_1.1.50 or the one after that. Either way, the feature is not available yet despite the announcements.
- kothapetNoviceI just upgraded to 1.0.4.18_1.1.52 version, and still no ReadyCloud option.
- FairytailVirtuosoIt is not included on the release notes for the new firmware.

- cgartnerAspirantI'm hearing that firmware enabling USB drives attached to the R7000 be accessed remotely via ReadyCLOUD won't be available for release until summer. Not sure what the problems are that have resulted in this delay from January. Supposedly feature will be pretty slick once it does come our way. Can't wait!
- Babylon5NETGEAR Employee RetiredThis feature is now available in the current firmware V1.0.4.28, please see here http://forum1.netgear.com/showthread.php?t=96370
I use it for remote access to the R7000 USB device, and also a secure remote Admin of the router itself. I also have a ReadyNAS and both the NAS and R7000 appear together on the same ReadyCloud page, giving me a simple one page access to both devices from anywhere, including smartphone access. - FairytailVirtuosoHere is the KB article on how to configure ReadyCloud.
