If your local network is set up to use IPv4 (which is usually the case), then you can ignore the warning. But if your local network only uses IPv6, then you'd need to keep it enabled.
One thing you might also try is to run an ongoing ping test from a remote site to your router (ideally using ddns, though you could also use the public IP address of the router). Gping is a free utility that can do this for you. Then you would see if there are any disruptions in internet service at the NAS location when the outage occurs. Ideally you would run this utility in parallel on a PC that is on the NAS local network (pinging the NAS instead of the router). Then you would also see if there is any loss of service on the local network.
It would also be a good idea to download the full log zip file, and look for network issues or system restarts during the outage.
