ReadyCloud App Bug: Create Web Link for File
I've discovered a bug with the readycloud app on ios. When I am not connected to Wi-Fi and I try to create a web link for a file on my drive, the issued link does not work.

Hello _jack_,
Can you provide more information about your NAS and the file? Also, what web browser you were using, what error message you have received? Did you try another file?
I test this and created a web link for a folder, it did work. I also tested and created a web link for a file and it also worked.

Hi _jack_ & Graham85,
There are similar posts here in the community (from a few ReadyCLOUD users) who raised this issue. As of now, this is still being investigated.
Kind regards,BrianL

The issue of "requested resource does not exist" is reoccurring problem beyond the use of the app... I also have this problem with web links created in the ready cloud web portal. Web links created that have expiration dates weeks into the future randomly stop working long before that date.
- RhinorodAspirantI'm using Marshmallow Android and am experiencing issues as well. Have tried different files and delivery methods (email and text). Email generated a subject of "weblink from READY CLOUD", however there is no link. Nothing at all when attempting to send a link by text message. It just opens up messaging. I tried long pressing Incase I needed to paste a link but no joy.

Hi Rhinorod,
Cloud i know which android devcie do you use? Such as LG or HuaWei or other?
And which firmware version do you use for NAS, which readycloud android app version do you get this issue?
Best Regards.
- RhinorodAspirantReadyCloud app v1.2.11 on a ZTE ZMAX PRO. I'm not sure what firmware the drive is,I checked it out on Seagate website by entering the serial number and the website says it's up to date.
In the last week the app has updated and it now creates a link that when you click on it takes you to a page that says "downloading xxxx.wma" then in red says " the requested resorces are unavailable"

Do you own a ReadyNAS? If so, which model, and what firmware is it running?
If you are using USB storage with your Netgear router, please let us know the router model and firmware versionf or that.

Is this problem solved? I have a Nighthawk R7000 with updated firmware and iOS ReadyCloud app. Message "The requested resource does not exist" still shows when I create a URL for a music file and try to play with it from any other apps.
