When will the ReadyCloud Desktop App for mac become available?

I'm not a windows 8 fan myself, and wasn't meaning to imply that windows 8 was better than OSX. What I was saying is that Windows current market share still dictates that it gets top priority. That could of course change in the future.
And also I was saying that Apple has closed off their ecosystem, which makes the consumer's ability to integrate with other company's products more difficult than it should be. The iTunes server is one proof point. It simply should be possible for a linux box to easily stream multimedia to the built in players in iPad or iPhone. Apple intentionally prevents this. Difficulty of software implementation is a different subject altogether. The problem isn't that the SDKs aren't available at all, not that they are hard to use. The tools that do exist were all reverse engineered.
They're the biggest company in the world, they could easily release a version of the iTunes server for linux and a few other such things. Or at least a developer SDK.

I totally agree with this point.
