readycloud desktop
Two Macbook Pros running Mojave 10.14.6. Same antivirus program in background, same firewall settings, same permissions. Sitting side by side on same network, one connects to server via ReadyCloud seamlessly, one gets gets only "VPN Disconnected" message. Somewhere I'm missing a setting. Copied desktop client from one to the other — nothing. Now what do I do?
Because ReadyCloud did not appear in the preferences folder — in Mojave, at least — and I could not isolate the problem, I went into the library and deleted every trace of ReadyCloud and reinstalled a fresh copy. Whatever setting differed from that on my other Mojave Macbook Pro and Mac Pro was rectified and the app resumed normal functionality.

Welcome to the Community!
Have you tried reinstalling the app? Also, are you trying to access the same NAS and using the same account? If yes, try to toggle the service on the NAS and relogin.

I'll give it a shot. Can I do that remotely or do I need to be on the LAN?

If you need to do it remotely you should be atleast connected to a VPN since if you are connecting from ReadyCloud, you will lose access once you turn it off.
BTW, have you tried logging in to ReadyCloud portal on the Mac that is having the issue?
