I had a two week discussion with Netgear on the fact the ReadyCloud Desktop App for the Mac is not working all the time and share with them under what conditions it works and does not work. It definitely have issue on OS X 10.10.2 and being outside your home network.
I got a response today which said they do not believe it is a Mac issue since I shown that the Window's version works fine and they suggest that I just use the Web interface to access files outside my home network while using the mac.
