This is not that uncommon for only connecting via hostname to work on one Windows system and for only connecting via I.P. to work on another. Sometimes when there is a Windows update it may break access via one method and fix it for the other.

OK Stephen I'm now even more confused. The Win7 Machine is definitely accessing the NAS in Explorer - I can see all the folders and files on the NAS box. However when I try to log into the NAS either through RAIDar or through the Brower using the IP address shown in RAIDar it tells me that I can't access the drive. HOWEVER, out of frustration I retried to access the NAS on the WIN10 machine through RAIDar and blow me down I'm in - However (again) I cant access NAS box files through Explorer on the WIN10 Machine - As I said very confused. Should I still disable IPv6 and anything else I should try while Im in

Are you saying RAIDar lets you browse the shares on the Win10 system?

If so, mdgm's suggestion is a workaround (use the IP address instead of the NAS host name to connect).
