If you purchased new, then you have 90 day installation support.

 

So you could contact support.netgear.com.

    thanks i've raised a call but got as far as having to dial the premium number to speak to somebody. 

     

     

    If i don't get anything from netgear overnight i'll arrange a return with amazon. Not the best service so far from Netgear.

      Your installation support includes 90 day phone support, so you should be able to call w/o being charged.
