We are installing a 'new' Netgear NAS device We have existing Netgear NAS devices with PLEX installed. The PLEX migration document says to move the database from the 'old' to the 'new' server. Where is the PLEX NAS server database located in the Netgear system? We have SSH access and movement will be possible if we could locate where that item actually is. Any help would be appreciated.1.2KViews0likes1CommentRN21400 cannot manage through Readycloud PC Chrome
Hello, Cannot log in into Admin page in Readycloud: Home tab shows "Currently you have no registered or shared devices Manage tab shows "Currently you have no registered devices Discover tab shows me device and the Manage button When I press the Manage button, I put my credentials in but nothing happens- actually the credentials placeholder comes up again & again asking for UN & PW. I have model READYNAS214, firmware 6.10.2 (installed today an hour before all started) on Windows 10- I can see my files through LAN & RAIDar (admin page button gets me the same result as above). Any suggestions? Thodoris1.7KViews0likes2CommentsReady NAS 424 Not Connecting
Hello, I'm having trouble with my ReadyNAS 424 and hoping someone in this group may be able to help. My internet service went out this morning and when my ISP rebooted the router, they also changed the IP from static to dynamic. I lost connection to my NAS. I reset the IP address to the original static settings, but the NAS isn't being picked up on either of my network attached computers. I've rebooted everything (including the ReadyNAS) and am running out of ideas. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Matt2.1KViews0likes3CommentsReadyNASRND2000v2 not starting up
Hi All, I have a hard drive in my readynas duo v2 but it stopped starting up when the hard-drive got 100% full. The harddrive is healthy as I plugged it into my computer and it was found and the system (windows 7) said it was a healthy harddrive. But the readyNas wouldnt boot, the ReadyNas works fine when I remove the harddrive and it can be found in Raidar. But when I put the harddrive back in it has errors on the Raidar, I read somewhere that the logfiles most likely couldnt be written (HD full). How do I fix this? The blue power light just flashes on and off and then on for a second and act light flashes on and goes off again. Can anyone help? How do you bypass the logfiles being written? I can login to telnet but what do I do after that?1.9KViews0likes3CommentsRN 212 -- ReadyCloud -- "Currently you have no registered or shared devices"
I can access my ReadyNAS storage from the client on my "home" laptop, and remotely (from the ReadyCloud web app) from my administrator email account. However, when I attempt to access the various shares from a second email address (which has specific access to these shares, per the "Manage" tab of the ReadyCloud app) I get the error message "Currently you have no registered shares or devices." I have logged out and logged in, with no luck. I have asked my son (who is also allowed remote ReadyCloud access to the same shares via *his* email address), and he can see and access the shares. It's just this second email address which has the problem. Clearly, this is a common problem, as there are numerous posts of the same type, none of which share a common solution, and some of which seem to remain unsolved. It's always frustrating when you see that a problem is occurring over and over, and no permanent solution seems to be in place. Any suggestions? Thanks.Solved3.1KViews0likes3Comments
