Why is Readycloud remote not https?
Subject asks the question. Why does ReadyCloud not connect to a secure server?

Well, its the way it is for now - however this can't be considered resolved. Even complex Web App environments must be workable with a https front end.

I agree. For many businesses, HTTP is a non-starter, no matter what assurances are given about the back end. Consumers might be more tolerant at the moment, but I don't think that will last.
It seems to me that it would be possible to segment the ReadyCloud frontend so that it uses only HTTPS with ReadyNAS (and higher-end Nighthawks).
