App to use ReadyNAS as a NVR

have a ReadyNAS Duo v2 that works tirelessly as our NAS - have possession of a couple of IP Cameras and would like to use them with the NAS box - can I add NVR functionality via an Add-on to this NAS...

Hi ihshaikh,

I apologize but there's no add-on that will or can turn your current ReadyNAS system into an NVR. Since this is a network attached storage, it can be used as a permanent directory or path to saved the recordings made by your security camera software.

i think this app will allow you to record ip camera video onto the Netgear NAS drive right? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netgear.surveillance&hl=en

FWIW, ReadyNAS Surveillance won't run on the OP's Duo v2.
