Apps list images broken and missing after 6.10.0 upgrade

Just upgraded to 6.10.0 and now none of the logos for any of the apps are working.... like for my plex server and linux-dash, smbclient etc... even all the available apps have broken images. I also can't find the images on the NAS anywhere. What happened?????

Seeing this in the logs for just about everything:

System: Found app with bad configuration. Disabling its configuration page.

  • This appears to have fixed my issue...

    apt-get download python2.7-minimal
    touch /usr/bin/python2.7 && sudo chmod +x /usr/bin/python2.7
    dpkg --unpack python2.7-minimal*
    apt-get -f install
    apt-get upgrade

    Regards

    Hi enkrypt3d,

    I have not seen this issue on our NAS after updating it to 6.10.0. Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

    What apps are installed on the NAS?

    You may also download the logs and provide it to us so we can further check this. You can upload it to Google Drive then PM me the download link.

      It's not a cached issue. The apps do not work anymore except for Plex which is weird.

      I had linux-dash, smb plus, plex, sabnzbd and a few others and they're all broken except plex... with the above errors in the logs saying they have a bad configuration. I'm also not able to remove them! Please advise as to what I can try. Thanks

        Digging deeper it seems that it has broken PHP completely:

        root@NAS:~# apt-get upgrade
        Reading package lists... Done
        Building dependency tree
        Reading state information... Done
        You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.
        The following packages have unmet dependencies:
        libapache2-mod-php5 : Depends: apache2.2-bin but it is not installed
        Depends: apache2 (< 2.4) but 2.4.25-3+deb9u6.netgear2 is installed
        libpython2.7-stdlib : Depends: libpython2.7-minimal (= 2.7.9-2+deb8u2) but it is not installed
        python : Depends: python2.7 (>= 2.7.9-1~) but it is not installed
        python-cheetah : Depends: python2.7 but it is not installed
        python-minimal : Depends: python2.7-minimal (>= 2.7.9-1~) but it is not installed
        python-software-properties : Depends: unattended-upgrades but it is not installed
        python2.7-dev : Depends: python2.7 (= 2.7.9-2+deb8u2) but it is not installed
        E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

        What has changed in 6.10.0 vs the previous version? It appears to have changed how apache & php work...
