Cannot set a hostname
I installed ReadyNAS Photos II on a RN102 (Firmware 6.1.8 )
When I enter a hostname in step 2 of the settings I always get the following error "It contains invalid characters."
For example the hostname I enterd: alpi11-nas
Can anyone tell me, what is wrong?
Thank you!

- vandermerweMasterHave you tried omitting the hyphen?
- alpi11AspirantYes, right now I tried
alpi11nas
as well as
alpinas
It results the same error :( - atanas2AspirantI tried alpi11-nas and worked for me. Probably there are white spaces around the hyphen. White spaces are not allowed characters in the host name.
Hope this help! - alpi11AspirantCertainly there are no white spaces around the hyphen! I wrote it exactly like this: alpi11-nas
But I found another strange detail: in step 2 is written: " Also maximum length of hostname is 31 letters."
But I found out that there are only 16 letters possible. I marked the whole field with the mouse and pressed the backspace-button on my keyboard to delete possible white spaces. It was still not possible to enter more than 16 letters. - atanas2AspirantYeah, it looks like a bug for me.
