Hopefully the developer will see this feed back. You can also check their website at https://rnxtras.com/ and see if there is a way to let them know there. ReadyNAS Xtras is one of the app developers registered with NETGEAR.

I managed to find an eMail address on their web site and submitted a link to this thread. However, I haven't heard of them since.
BTW, this thread in this forum is a direct consequence of the incomplete installation: dokuwiki - no admin button

I have identified the problem why the DikuWiki would not do what I expected it to. I have applied the solution and now it does. Hence, my problem is solved.
I thought it might be useful for members of the Netgear Community if I gave an abstract of both the problem and the solution; I'l be quite glad if future releases of the NAS did this particular thing right out of the box, but I wouldn't really mind if not.
I'll leave it to someone else to contact the supplier of the software and so on. My own needs are met and the problem is solved, as far as I am concerned.
