Edit: the fix in this post is no longer be needed.
Anyone else having this problem on an OS6 ARM system running 6.5.0 please download (EDIT LINK REMOVED)
If it self-extracts grab the zip file from the trash/recycle bin (if it is moved there). It is most important that you have the zip file that was downloaded.
Restore this zip file via System > Settings > Backup > RestoreYou will then be prompted to do a reboot.
About 4-5 minutes later the problem should then be fixed.

Hi Ringo155 & Canolli,
Welcome to the community!
Was it the same case if you will install an app manually or via 'Available apps'? We'll look into this issue that you guys reported.
Kind regards,

Hi ReadDude,
Does this happen if you're trying to install apps under 'Available apps'? or via manual upload? Kindly prepare the logs so we can check what caused the problem.
Kind regards,
BrianL

It fails under both the available apps and manual upload. I tried the available apps version 1.00.6 and manually tried to upload 1.0.7 and 1.0.6 all fail similarly, but I also see the problem of not being able to update the available apps list. it is almost like the device does not appear to be on the internet while my connection most definitely good.

I also saw a blank available apps screen on one system - I overinstalled OS 6.5 (just manually installed it again), which took care of that.

I tried the patch (restore the sources.zip file) and all things seem to be working okay now.
For others who are experiencing issues. the restore also appears to have dealt with at least on previously unknown issue to me: the addition of the button set the fan speed. That was noted in the release notes, but I couldn't set the value until i did the restore. this restore step appears to have done more than reset the apps section.
I did notice that it appears to have reset my credentials, i had to use the admin default password to get back in, was that intended?
