The Google Drive app is blocked on my Readynas 104. How can I set up a sync to Google Drive now?
I spoke to google about this and they basically said - tough - the fact that it was disabled and therefore required a re-auth meant that it won't work - I didn't get into an argument - seemed a little pointless, but I did download and setup rclone, which was pretty good, although not quite as per the setup documentation
In order to assist others, let me see if I have this straight: The Google drive software on the ReadyNAS is out of date, and Google no longer allows new instances of it being used, but has grandfathered in (intentionally or not) those that currently have it running?
If that's the case, then Google could disable it in the future for existing users. Microsoft did just that with the ReadyNAS OneDrive software not too long ago.
