HomeBridge on ReadyNAS
So a friend of mine was showing off his smart home, which was based around a Raspberry Pi running HomeBridge (self-described as "a lightweight NodeJS server you can run on your home network that emulates the iOS HomeKit API") and a SmartThings hub.
I know a complete Raspberry Pi kit is inexpensive, but I'm not sure why a ReadyNAS couldn't theoretically run HomeBridge instead.
My coding knowledge is limited and I'm not sure how, say, a fairly straightforward HomeBridge install process like this for the Pi (or this for OS X) would translate to the ReadyNAS. But it does seem to me that this might make a useful and pretty cool ReadyNAS add-on if the right person were to take it up.
Am I overlooking something that would make it difficult or pointless to run HomeBridge on the ReadyNAS?

Sounds like a reasonable app project for WhoCares_ super_poussin or NAStools to take on.
