Linux_Dash Stopped Working - v6.7.4
Linux-dash on my RN214 has stopped working - browsing to the GUI, it comes up but shows zero CPU cores, zero RAM and empty Disk Usage etc. Apart from that, the NAS appears to be working OK. I ins...

Thanks,
I was not aware of the connection with PHP, nor the wider problems with that.
Whilst linux-dash is indeed a "tiny app", it was proving invaluable in narrowing down a problem I was having with excessive RAM usage. I will hold off rolling back to an older version of the OS for now, but it does seem to be relevant that a system that had linux-dash installed on an older version of the OS still works when ReadyNAS OS is upgraded, (your experience and mine), yet when linux-dash is put on to onto a fresh install of OS v6.7.4 it does not work, (my recent experience)?

Jun 02, 2017I love linux dash, you are preaching to the converted :-)
We need somebody else to tell us how a fresh install of it behaves on a nas running 6.7.4. without going through factory reset and os reinstall as you did.

Well that didn't last very long did it? :manwink:
I did a USB Recovery back to OS v6.5.0, (the earlest version that I can recall running on my RN214), and a Factory Defaults reset. After re-installing linux-dash it was working again. I then upgraded the OS straight to 6.7.4 through the GUI main page and linux-dash is still working.
There definitely seems to be something about having remnants of the old OS still on the system that is keeping linux-dash working I think?
