Milestone Arcus and iDrive backup
Is it possible to backup Milestone Arcus videos using IDrive? If so, how can you setup? I will need to know the folder names to specify on IDrive.
Thank you.

Hello rblanco,
It is possible to backup the videos of the Milestone Arcus to your IDrive. As for the setup the videos that is recorded from Arcus will be save on one of the shares of the NAS. On the IDrive setup you can sync this specific share to your IDrive account for backup.

Hi Marty,
The only folders in the ReadyNAS tree are: Documents, home, Music, Pictures, Videos. None of them contain the Arcus video files. Arcus must be using a hidden folder. Any suggestion?
Thanks.

You can access the full data volume via SMB, use NAS admin credentials.
For instance, from Windows you can run CMD and enter
net use * /delete
net use t: \\nas-ip-address\data /user:admin nas-admin-password
using the real NAS IP address and admin password. That will mount the full data volume as drive letter T. Be careful on the spaces and the slash direction.
Then you can search the full data volume for the files. (turn on the ability to see hidden files). I don't use this particular app, but I'd start by looking in the root of data, and also in the .apps folder (which is a hidden folder in the root).
