- F_L_TutorHi!
Even though I dont have a tvcard yet I would love to see TVHeadend on the ReadyNas.
TVHeadend + XBMC on client seems to be the perfect tv-solution. - Yato73AspirantHey
Are there missing add-ons Couch Potato 2, Sickbeard , SBNZD on the 314?
Is R6 the same as OS6 ? just making sure I am in the right forum....
C - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredVince's add-ons are listed here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=70914
There are other add-ons on the Genie Marketplace as well.
R6 = OS6 = ReadyNAS OS 6 = ROS6 - super_poussinVirtuoso

Those addons are available and the author is WhoCares - arnomcAspirantI believe Whocares didn't adapt his DDclient addon for OS 6.
I would add a Dynamic DNS client to the list of the missing addons for R6.
I was also thinking about a OpenVPNclient (not VPNserver which i have seen on your dropbox).
a thousand thanks
I found this, but didn't tried it yet (neither on os4 neither os6), and I have no idea if it could still reliably work on a readyNAS OS6.

- ukbobboyLuminaryHi Guys
First of all, I must mention that I have a ReadyNAS Duo v2 with the RAIDiator 5.3.8 firmware all controlled from my PC which runs WinXP Pro SP3 (no plans to change my O/S).
OK, my suggestion is not so much about "Add-ons" but about extra facilities/utilities.
As those of you will know, my NAS runs "Dashboard", which has a truly awful colour scheme and can strain the eyes of elderly users such as myself. If possible, I would like see a utility that can customise the colour scheme of some of Dashboard's pages, so that it can be more "eyes friendly".
UK Bob
PS. Before I bought my NAS Duo v2 last year I did a bit of research, I expected to see "FrontView" as the Duo's controlling software (very eyes friendly) but got the bug ridden Dashboard instead.
PPS. Don't get me wrong, I believe the NAS Duo v2 is a very good piece of IT hardware but it has been let down by Dashboard. - robotslaveAspirant1) The SDK. I can't find any instructions anywhere on how to set up a development environment for R6/ARM.
2) The server side of a free, client/server backup solution with multiplatform clients. Bacula would be super. Amanda would work. I'd port one and add an admin plugin myself, if I had an SDK.
3) The R6 Software Development Kit. For ARM-based units, in my particular case. - super_poussinVirtuosoyou must go there : https://developer.netgear.com/home
