Plex Media server not available

Hi

 

Is there any reason why the Plex Media Server app is not available within available apps on my Nas?

I have also tried to install downloading direct from the plex site and just get error messages everytime it tried to install.

I have tried resetting Nas but no difference?

 

 

Any help appreciated

    It is only distributed through plex now.

    What ReadyNAS model do you have, and what firmware are you running?  Also, what browser are you using for the install?

      I have the ReadyNas214 and tried using Chrome and Firefox bit still the same issue.

      Firmware is up to date 6.6.1

  • Yes that is the option I am selecting, it uploads but then just fails to install. Error messsge just stated failure to install

      You are using the upload control on the apps page (not the install firmware control on system->settings)?

       

      Have you confirmed that the ReadyNAS can connect to the internet (the install will download some packages I think).

  • Definitely using apps upload options and definitely connected to the internet as can install other apps and connect remotely

      Can you attempt to install the app again then download your logs and send them in (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
