Plex Media Server on RN102 fail to start

Hi All I have update to 6.7.4 Netgear Firmware of RN102 and dince impossible to start PlexMediaServer. I have download last update of Plex, Same... Uninstall / Install again... Nothing All the t...

Yes, I downloaded the correct one. As I say, after an 'apt-get update && apt-get upgrade' then a reboot it did work.

MOD NOTE: apt-get upgrade is not recommended. We do try to pin packages that shouldn't be upgraded but you still may run into issues doing this.

Hello barryflanagan,

Did you get this app from https://www.plex.tv/downloads/? Since you are using RN314, you should be loading the Intel one.

Hi All

Thanks for reply. But didnt work on 102.
I have try with all versions avaible for plex but nothing working, same for apt upd and upg...
Not sure for compatibility at the end for this model...

  The 102 uses the ARM 6.x version of Plex.

    There is definately some sort of issue with 6.7.4 OS and front end upgrades of Plex server. I have been upgrading fine for years on various machines. My current RN516 has started failing to update Plex Media Server ever since the last firmware update. I can manually do it thru WinSCP by loading the package there and installing, rather inconvenient. When you try to upload the Plex package thru front end you just get an unable to update error and the process stops.
    
    I would think it was just a corrupted config on my end at first, but reading the Plex forums, many are having this issue.
