PS3 Media Server for ReadyNAS PRO

I installed all 3 add-ons last night in the correct order. Afterward I was no longer able to access my ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer shares or frontview. RAIDar could not find the NAS either.

I reinstalled the firmware today by using the reset button method today. I can now access the files and RAIDar finds the NAS, but I cannot access frontview. New IP is 192.168.1.199 and I've tried logging in with IE, Firefox and Chrome.. no luck. Need help!

Playstation Media Server is working flawlessly on my ReadyNas Ultra. It is so good to have this! However I cannot get any radio stations to work. I have added them to the WEB.conf and they show up in the list on the playstation, but I get "Corrupted Data" error. Anyone got this working?

It's a new version of PMS available: 1.21

Is anyone maintaing this? Perhaps if Igor has no interest/time someone could take over if the source code is made available? It is such a good add on that I'd hate to see it stop developing.

Do you have thumbnails for videos (specially for m2ts) with PS3 media server on ReadyNAS Ultra?

Can I install pms-generic-linux-unix-1.21.1.tgz (from the link below) on RNDU2000?
(using ssh, I will setup pms.conf)

So yeah;

I've installed the 3 packages provided by Igor on my ReadNAS Ultra 4 plus, but my PS3 does not seem find the media senter.

I tried starting it manually by executing /addons-config/jre.1.6.0_22/bin/java pms.jar , but that gives me a NoClassDefFoundError exception.

So im really at a loss here, Any chance on an update Igor?

A new version for PS3 Media Server is available 1.22.0 for Linux (on code.google.com), hopefully will have the add-on for Netgear.

After I installed add-ons java, pms and mediap I was able to update the pms version to the latest:
-use add-on ssh (Enable Root SSH Access) to connect on RNDU (from windows using putty);
-copy tgz archive from http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/downloads/list to a temporary directory to unzip with:
tar -zxvf pms-generic-linux-unix-1.22.0.tgz
-next identify the process pms.jar with: ps -ef|grep pms

(admin 2212 1 9 20:23 ? 00:01:46 /c/addons-config/jre1.6.0_22/bin/java -Xmx768M -Xss16M -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -classpath /c/addons-config/pms/update.jar:/c/addons-config/pms/pms.jar:/c/addons-config/pms/plugins/:/c/addons-config/pms/plugins/* net.pms.PMS)

-next kill the process pms.jar; example: kill 2212 (or from graphical interface you can un-check then save "PMS for ReadyNAS" to stop the pms process)
-next copy only pms.jar (and optionaly xml files) from pms-generic-linux-unix-1.22.0.tgz archive to /c/addons-config/pms/
-next reboot NAS
(if you need to change config you can etit with vi /c/addons-config/pms/PMS.conf )

I have only one problem; I can't have thumbnails for video (On a Debian PC I have thumbnails for videos); I added in PMS.conf:
thumbnails = true
dvd_isos_thumbnails = true
thumbnail_seek_pos = 40
use_mplayer_for_video_thumbs = true

To me: media + video EQUAL thumbnails

I did not added details about linux commands; let me know if questions.
