readydata 5200 bootable problem
Hello evereyone,
ı have ReadyData 5200 storage . I downloaded OS file from https://www.netgear.com/support/download/?model=RD5200 here but when ı tried to do the ReadyDATAOS-V1.4.3 bootable to USB all boot software giving same error. I added the screenshot .
How can I ınstall ReadyData OS from usb or diffrent way .

OK, I'm not sure why you are in that particular software. But the error message is pretty clear that the USB is not yet partitioned.
The ReadyNAS OS6 USB recovery (see How-do-I-use-the-USB-Recovery-Tool-on-my-ReadyNAS-OS-6-storage-system ) appears to have provisions for restoring a ReadyData system as well, putting the OS in the solaris folder. I can find no documentation on it's use for that, but that's what I suggest you try. But I do not know if the USB needs to already be partitoned for that to work (since it's designed to restore a previously working one, not create one from scratch).

The file that goes in the solaris folder is not the firmware image, but rather a flash image.
