I was exploring my Orbi router settings and actually found I can set up the VPN there instead working as a relay. Thanks for your inputs!

I have a ReadyNas 312 with upgraded ram. I think it has 2 ports though only one is connected. I can ask someone to come plug a second one in.
I know it's a Linux box inside and my linux skills are very rusty, so I would appreciate more detailed guide on how to set it up. I can run commands over ssh, no issues, but it's quite complicated for me to know which ones I need :)

Google is your friend here. It has been far too long since I did it, and I only did so as an experiment, so I can't guide you. I just followed some generic instructions I Googled.
