Be careful to NOT do a factory default by mistake, as that will destroy your data.
The OS reinstall will
- reset the admin password to password
- reset the network configuration to use DHCP with no bonding (factory default)
- disable volume quota (which is turned back on using the volume settings wheel).
It will not affect your data or other configuration settings.
