ReadyNAS Surveillance with 3 cameras - Internet access
Hello All,
I am hoping to get some help. I have a Nighthawk R8500 router, ReadyNAS 202 NAS and I have a license for 3 cameras on the ReadyNAS Surveillance. I use the DLink DCS-5222L and two DLink DCS-2330L cameras.
They all work great. I can access them successfully from within my network using the ReadyNAS Surveillance Windows Application and the iPhone mobile application. I can access them using the DLink mobile application from within my network and using the DLink coud service from the internet. I can also successfully access all three cameras by directly accessing their internal network IP address.
What i can't do is access the cameras using the ReadyNAS Surveillance Mobile application from over the internet. I have all three set up with their own ports (1024, 1026, 1028) usuing uPNP.
Can someone help me set up this ReadyNAS Surveillance Mobile Application for external internet access? There is no documenation for this application.
Thank you,
-Alex
There is currently a security bug with ReadyNAS Surveillance which we are working on.
Consequently I would suggest that you don't port forward ports to your NAS to allow remote access to Surveillance at this time.
