readynass surveillance and doorbird?

Hi,

I just installed Readynas Surveillance on my readynas Ultra 6. Nu issues there.  I would like to integrate my doorbird to this system?  Doorbird is connected to the same network via LAN.  I can acces the HTML5 Widget and live view through ip http://192.168.x.x/bha-api/view.html (replaced some digits with x for security reasons). If I go to the readynas surveilance app and I add the camera with the correct ip, username and password I can save the camera and get the message: Updated IP Camera Setting Successfully

Obviously I cannot choose a vendor or model since the vendor isn't listed (this is probably the issue)

Live view cannot be established. I get the message: 'cannot ceate directory....'

I tried with chosing random vendors and models with the same result.  Is there any way to connect the doorbird to this system? if not don't bother for the next question :-)

Also, second question.  If this works I would like to expand with 3 ip camera's (2 outdoor and 1 indoor). What is the price for the licence (4 cameras) and which cameras  (or brand) would you recommend. I would ike the indoor camera to be able to rotate (maby also the option to talk back) and the outdoor static but with good nightvision.

I am an absolute beginner in this area so if possible step-by-step info, thanks!

    Hi PaRau,

I would think that the issue is with the camera's not being supported.

I have seen cases that they had issues with the camera as well as ones that do work like on this post.

You could probably try a different way of doing this. On the post above, he mentioned using zoneminder.

Unfortunately I do not have a step by step guide for it.
