Running VirtualBox VM host on ReadyNAS Pro

If you want to use VirtualBox to run e.g. Ubuntu, you should ideally get a Pro 6 (RNDP6000) or if not that get an Ultra 6 Plus (RNDP600U).
The ReadyNAS runs heavily customised Debian Linux. I don't know if it's possible to run that software directly rather than via a VM. Either way it would be unsupported.
